The guy at the scale was great.Super professional and helpful.Positive attitude.I’m not trying to be picky but the woman at the pay window could be a little nicer.I know she’s probably dealing with a lot of BS from some of the less educated scrapers so I don’t want to be too critical about it. The whole process of having my car picked up was easy. From contacting to having car towed away and receiving the amount agreed upon took about 6 hours. Tow driver arrived at agreed pick up time. Very professional.

I had a car that failed and the repair was more than it was worth. I decided to junk it and called Gershow, partly based on positive reviews. Response was prompt and friendly. Although much of the experience went well, I still have not received, to my knowledge, a SIGNED bill of sale or receipt showing that I sold the car.I was not asked to sign the title, and was paid in cash. Besides an Excel document, which I could have easily made myself, there is absolutely no proof that I don't still own, and am responsible for, the vehicle.This issue has been brought up several times.EDIT: I bumped it from 2 to 4 stars because after several contacts the did provide me with the documentation I needed.

Wow! I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful experience I had at Gershow Recycling! Everyone who worked there was friendly and inviting.
